About Us

Formed in 2000 by Lesley Bentley, Living Planit has grown steadily over the years to become a respected market leader in project management learning and development. Building on Lesley's experience as a research practitioner in the development and trial of the award-winning Soft Systems Project Management Approach, we have developed a range of training programs for project-based organisations in the public and private sector. In 2004, the company purchased offices in the heart of the Sydney CBD, expanding a year later with the acquisition of our custom built training room.

Living Planit is committed to environmentally responsible practices and actively promotes a culture of sustainability
  • Where possible, we use local trainers rather than flying trainers between locations unnecessarily
  • We print training manuals to order rather than stockpiling. This ensures that when course content is updated, there is no need to reprint any manuals
  • Where possible, we provide readings in electronic form rather than printed handouts
  • We buy products made from recycled materials wherever possible, including recycled A4 and butchers paper
  • We incorporate sustainability themes in some training programs, such as:
    • Environmental Risk Management
    • Environmental legislation affecting projects including the POEO Act
    • Adding ‘reuse’ to conventional make/team/buy decisions
    • Cradle to Cradle (C2C) methodology
