Organisation Maturity Assessment

Help your Organisation Achieve Best Practice and Improve Performance and Reputation

Accreditation as a Project Managed Organisation (PMO) provides independent assurance that your organisation operates at a highly competent Project Management level. Your customers can be confident that they are dealing with a best practice, professional and accountable organisation.

Living Planit can help your organisation achieve Project Managed Organisation (PMO) Accreditation by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). We are one of the few Project Management organisations with qualified assessors to conduct an AIPM PMO Maturity Assessment.

The assessment takes 1-18 months, with comprehensive consultation and assessment of your Project Management systems and practices.

PMO Assessment Criteria

The PMO assessment identifies strengths and gaps in best practice, measured against the following eight accepted criteria:

  • Leadership and innovation
  • Strategic planning
  • Business results focus
  • Customer and market focus
  • Supportive processes
  • Data, information and knowledge availability
  • Human resource management alignment
  • Consistent application of Project Management functions.

Living Planit will work with your organisation to develop and implement practices to meet the criteria. Once the organisation is formally assessed as meeting the criteria, it will be accredited by the AIPM.

PMO accreditation is valid for two years. At the end of this period, the AIPM will audit the organisation to ensure it has implemented any agreed improvement plans. The AIPM also reserves the right to conduct a random audit at any time during the first two years. While your organisation holds a valid PMO accreditation you can display the AIPM endorsement logo.
